"Transmission" in film!

Part of the thrill of writing poems is that you never know who they're going to reach, and how. A man named Fred Birchman contacted me recently to say he was moved by my poem, "Transmission"--so much so that he decided to make an original short film from one of the poems! And he found some heartbreaking footage of Amelia Earhart to accompany my words.
